Hi! I’m Steven Van Dao, a New York-based actor and singer originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. I’m currently a senior at Pace University, pursuing my BFA in Musical Theater at the Sands College of Performing Arts.

My journey into theater began behind the scenes, where I discovered a love for the technical and collaborative side of production. Eventually, I found myself stepping into the spotlight, and I quickly realized that performing was where I felt most at home.

Since then, I’ve continued to grow as an actor, singer, and artist, taking every opportunity to challenge myself and expand my craft. Moving from Nebraska to New York to pursue musical theater has been one of the biggest and most rewarding steps of my life. Through my training and experiences at Pace, I’ve developed a deeper appreciation for storytelling and for the responsibility that comes with bringing a character to life.

In my free time, I love cooking up new dishes and experimenting in the kitchen. I’m also really passionate about photography and drawing. One of my favorite things to do is go to the movies, disconnect from the world for a couple of hours, and get completely immersed in a good story or something creative with a large popcorn and Mountain Dew.
